Senior Pastor- Timothy McLain Rolen 

Tim McLain Rolen has been the Senior Pastor of New Hope Community Church in Clovis, California since 1992. New Hope is a congregation that has grown from 150 to averaging 600 in Sunday Morning attendance. Tim has been Senior Pastor here for the past 16 years, but has been preaching since he was 15 years old.

Tim attended Hoover High School in Fresno, California, and graduated from California Christian College in 1977 with a BS in Biblical Studies and in 1978 from Fresno Pacific University with a BS in Communications.

Tim is very active in the community. Tim has served on a variety of school district committees, worked and was Sales Manager for the Fresno Bible House for 10 years. In addition to being Senior Pastor at New Hope Community Church, he has been on the Board of the Fresno/Clovis Pastors Prayer Breakfast, a Clovis Police Chaplain, and Director of the Fresno/Clovis Men's Retreat.

Tim's hobbies are reading, bird hunting, and sports.  He and his wife Shelly were married on Dec. 27th, 2007.         He has two sons, Brant and Chad and Shelly's one daughter, Ashlee.

Born in Dibble, OK. Lonnie was ordained in 1953.  Lonnie often went to different cities to "plant churches."  In 1954 Lonnie started Blythe Free Will Baptist Church.  In 1956 Calwa F.W.B. Church.  In 1956 Clovis F.W.B. Church and in 1959 started Ashbrook/Memorial F.W.B. Church.  Spending his life serving the Lord Lonnie is currently active at New Hope. What a blessing he and June have been to all who have known them.

Our beloved June Rolen:  On February 13, 2010 June went home to be with the Lord. What a wonderful woman she was.
June was the mother of Senior Pastor Tim Rolen, mother of Janice Little and the wife of Pastor Emeritus Lonnie Rolen.
June's entire life was centered around God's ministry. Her father was a preacher, her husband a preacher and son a pastor.
June's life was full of many accomplishments. There was never a Sunday that you would not see June meeting and greeting all the church body and sharing the word.  Her love for the Lord shined bright in all that she did. Her greatest desire and love was serving the Lord - and she served Him well.  She was loved by all and she will be greatly missed.

 Associate Pastor, Gene Sperling

Gene was an English Major at Fresno Pacific University so many years ago they were known as the Vikings not the Sunbirds.  While at the Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary Gene pastored Hilltop Chapel in the mountain community of Miramonte.  He then began a business carier as a Commercial Insurance Broker.  Gene returned to professional ministry when he joined the staff of New Hope Community Church in January of 2000. Gene works in Mens' Ministries, Senior Ministries and Discipleship training. Gene and his wife Geri have two grown children

Youth Pastor, Robert Hutchinson

Robert has been attending NHCC since 1988 and joined the staff as Youth Pastor in 2002. He attended Hoover High School in Fresno, CA, where he met his lovely wife Melissa. Biblical studies at California Christian College in Fresno. Robert is currently pursuing a degree in psychology at University of Phoenix. He and his wife Melissa were married in 1998 and have three children, Teresa, Matthew and Amelia.

Rich and Tim have worked together since 1988. Rich directs our Small Group Ministries and our church's counseling program. He and his wife Regina have one son, Ethan.

Missions Ministries, Gil Hernandez

Gil served for 20 years as a missionary to Mexico and now maintains good communications between our missionaries and church family. Gil is
retired from the Fresno Police Department as a Public Relations Officer.  gil has been a part of New Hope's Minsitry for over 20 years.
