An ongoing sermon series by Pastor Andrew Lynch.

Jesus was always teaching about the Kingdom of God. In fact, the very first thing Jesus preached after his baptism was this: “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near.” Throughout his ministry, Jesus told many parables to illustrate his teachings of God’s Kingdom. These messages will show us the heart of God and help us to see what God's kingdom is life as it breaks through into the reality of our lives.

PARABLE OF THE BAGS OF GOLD
Jesus was always teaching about the Kingdom of God. In fact, the very first thing Jesus preached after his baptism was this: “Repent, for the Kingdom of God is near.” Throughout his ministry, Jesus told many parables to illustrate his teachings of God’s Kingdom. Pastor Andrew Lynch examines the Parable of the Bags of Gold, in which we'll discover an unexpected source of joy. In the Kingdom of God our greatest joy is found in faithfully putting to use whatever God has entrusted to us.
PARABLE OF THE SOWER
Jesus wants to give us much more than mere head knowledge. He intends to teach us how to see and hear the mysteries of the Kingdom with eyes and ears opened by God. In this sermon, we will encounter another important aspect of the God’s Kingdom through the Parable of the Sower and we will ask ourselves the all-important question: What is the condition of my heart? God wants to grow his kingdom in and through your heart—a heart that is fully surrendered to Him.

PARABLE OF THE HIDDEN TREASURE AND THE PEARL

Every action we take reveals the values that we hold. The question is, are the things that we desire actually that valuable? Jesus wants us to see that nothing is worth more than the Kingdom of God.
