Matt & Shelley Actis are full time missionaries living in Uganda who used to attend New Hope. HOPE58 is currently building a Training and Equipping Ministry center in rural Eastern Uganda to better serve the communities. Hope58 equips vulnerable teenage girls who have dropped out of elementary school. These girls are given a second chance at life through New Life Skills centers, where they are loved, discipled, and trained in a skill such as sewing or hairdressing.

Mike Cousineau and the 1040 Initiative is a nonprofit that exists to provide life-changing essentials to impoverished communities in Côte d'Ivoire and Morocco. Their work centers around education, health care, and safe drinking water to those who would otherwise go without.

Sovereign Ministries is New Hope Community Church's outreach, targeting underserved communities in the Central Valley. Initially focused on Calwa in Southeast Fresno, we operate a mobile Food Pantry in collaboration with the Central California Food Bank. Upcoming services include Christ-centered recovery programs and various educational and holiday events.

The annual Mexico Missions Trip is a cornerstone of New Hope’s Student Ministries, offering students a life-changing opportunity to serve others and grow in their faith. During this trip, students work alongside local communities, share the love of Jesus, and experience the transformative power of serving in His name.
This journey not only meets practical needs but also deepens students’ understanding of what it means to live a life of service and devotion to God. Many come away with a renewed sense of purpose and a heart for missions that impacts their walk with Christ for years to come.

Rebekah Slick, partnering with City of Refuge since 2012 in Colombia, dedicates her life to serving drug addicts, the homeless, migrants, and vulnerable children, embedding the love of Christ in both words and actions. Her latest endeavor, 'Project Tikvah' (meaning 'hope that binds' in Hebrew), focuses on aiding displaced Venezuelan and Colombian women and children in Medellin. This project aims to provide a sanctuary for those escaping hardships, where they can find community, nourishment, and hope in Christ. Activities include a soup kitchen and family room for communal gatherings and spiritual nourishment. Plans are underway to expand services to include short-term housing and comprehensive care.

This ministry serves the community of Crooked Tree Village in Belize, Central America, an area facing significant economic challenges. Home to about 1,000 residents, the village often experiences severe flooding during the rainy season. The ministry provides essential support, including food assistance for single mothers and the elderly, home construction and repairs, and a vibrant ministry center. The center offers Bible studies for adults, a youth group for teens, and a children’s program for elementary-aged kids, sharing God’s love and meeting practical needs.
