Helping Hands: A Ministry of Care & Support
At Helping Hands, we believe in the power of community and compassion. Life brings unexpected challenges, but no one should have to face them alone. Our mission is to provide heartfelt support to our church family when they need it most—whether that means delivering a fresh meal, assisting with minor household repairs, or simply showing up with kindness and care.
How it Works
When a need arises within our church family, a request is sent out to the Helping Hands team. Volunteers receive email notifications with details about the opportunity to serve. There’s no pressure—just an open invitation to help as your schedule allows.
Ways you can help
Meal Delivery – Prepare or pick up a meal for someone recovering from surgery, welcoming a new baby, or facing a difficult season.
Household Assistance – Help with simple home repairs, yard work, or errands for those who need an extra hand.
Encouragement & Prayer – Sometimes, the greatest gift is simply being there—offering a listening ear, a kind word, or a prayer of encouragement.

Where Faith Meets Family
New Hope Community Church is a Christian church in Clovis, California. We gather around Scripture, prayer, and the long, slow work of growing in faith together. From Bible studies to youth programs to local outreach, we make space for real relationships and steady discipleship rooted in the teachings of Jesus.
