At Troop 4620, we are dedicated to guiding boys on their journey to becoming godly men of character through the Trail Life USA program. Our troop offers a variety of engaging outdoor adventures and structured activities designed to build leadership, teamwork, and practical skills.
Program Overview
Trail Life USA partners with churches and parents across America to develop boys into responsible husbands, fathers, and citizens. We offer structured activities for boys ages 5-17, including camping, hiking, skill development, and leadership training.

More than ever, boys need a uniquely masculine program where their assertive, audacious, and adventurous nature is celebrated. Trail Life USA offers a structured outdoor environment where boys thrive through real-world challenges like camping, hiking, and fishing, and develop skills in riflery, archery, and canoeing. This hands-on program fosters character, leadership, and important relationships, allowing boys to find mentors, connect with their fathers, and achieve significant accomplishments.

Program Overview
Woodlands Trail (Ages 5-10)
Boys gain knowledge in outdoor skills, citizenship, character, friendship, and faith through fun activities, awards, and skill instruction.
Navigators (Ages 11-13)
Boys develop a deeper understanding of their values and beliefs, guided by mentors, and engage in outdoor adventures and responsible home and school life activities.
Adventurers (Ages 14-17)
Young men mature in wisdom and faith through challenging activities and leadership roles, planning and leading events and projects.

Key Activities
Camping & Hiking
Experience the great outdoors while learning essential survival skills. Our camping and hiking adventures help boys connect with nature and build confidence.
Skill Development
Engage in activities like riflery, archery, and canoeing to develop practical abilities. These skills enhance focus, discipline, and teamwork among boys.
Mentorship
Boys are guided by trained and background-checked adults who foster growth and leadership. Mentorship is a core component, ensuring positive role models.
Father-Son Relationships
Strengthen family bonds through shared experiences and meaningful activities. Our program encourages fathers and sons to grow together.

We recommend attending one of our troop meetings to get a firsthand experience of what Troop 4620 has to offer. This is a great opportunity to meet our members, see our activities in action, and ask any questions you may have.
